Adult Students Get New Options for Education
The Art Institutes International Minnesota and The International Culinary School to Offer Night and Weekend Degree Options
MINNEAPOLIS, MN, November 14, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Art Institutes International Minnesota and The International Culinary School at The Art Institutes International Minnesota will launch their comprehensive, career-focused bachelor's and associate's degree and certificate programs in an Evening and Weekend format in the Winter Quarter starting January 12, 2009. The programs are designed to provide working adults the opportunity to complete their education through a combination of evening, weekend, on-ground and online courses.
The Art Institutes International Minnesota will offer bachelor's and associate's degrees in Web Design & Interactive Media and Graphic Design. The International Culinary School at The Art Institutes International Minnesota will offer certificate programs in The Art of Cooking and Baking and Pastry, an associate's degree in Culinary Arts, and a bachelor's degree in Culinary Management in the Evening and Weekend formats.
"The Evening & Weekend format provides educational choices for working adults, allowing them to pursue a career in specific applied arts fields, while attending college with a schedule that fits their busy lives," said Dr. Susan Tarnowski, Dean of Academic Affairs for The Art Institutes International Minnesota.
At the time of registration, students will be advised of the classes that will be offered online in their program. The same is true of the classes that the student will take at the school. Students will have the option of taking any online courses on-ground at the school, if offered. Students will be able to take a minimum of two on-ground courses each quarter. Financial aid is available to those who qualify.
