National Talent Search Finds Next New Boy Band
Audition process yields impressive young talent. After months of searching for the right talent, Wally Schmelz, President of TriStar Management Group, announced the search was over. Daniel Switch, Brent Rice, and Patrick Sieben were selected to represent TriStar's Next New Boy Band Project.


    SHAKOPEE, MN, November 03, 2008 /Minnesota News Articles/ -- Audition process yields impressive young talent. After months of searching for the right talent, Wally Schmelz, President of TriStar Management Group, announced the search was over. Daniel Switch, Brent Rice, and Patrick Sieben soon to be known as "Select Three" were selected to represent TriStar's Next New Boy Band Project.

The members', ages 18-21, were selected as the top vocalists. The fact that they are accomplished musicians on multiple instruments was a huge bonus. The project made a name for itself within the industry before the talent even entered the recording studio. Many record label executives pay close attention to YouTube popularity. Daniel Switch with over 700,000 views got the attention of some record executives when he was notified by Sony BMG and asked to perform at a Wyclef Jean concert. Switch, recently posted YouTube videos of the members of Select Three performing so record executives could hear their voices.

Industry experts predict the timing to add another Jonas Brothers type band could not be better. The band, which is multi-ethnic, could also work in their favor. Some of the top songwriters in the industry including Lou Pardini, Eddie J. Galán, Jay Condiotti, Shawn Lopes, Allen Copeland, & Jon Lind have also shown favor by writing songs for the project. Select Three is currently in the studio recording their new demo record with producers: Steve Hodge, Kevin Bowe & Dik Shopteau. In addition, TriStar has two music videos slated to begin production in December 2008.
