The Walser Foundation Supports 5th Annual SAVE Fashion Show
The Walser Foundation supports SAVE a national organization dedicated to suicide prevention. The foundation supports charities throughout the Twin Cities through grants from the Walser Automotive Group.
BLOOMINGTON, MN, May 21, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The 5th Annual SAVE Fashion Show will be held at the BayView Event Center in Excelsior, Minnesota. The Walser Foundation is a proud supporter of the event. The show will include appearances by Minneapolis and St. Paul celebrities modeling trendsetting clothing from area boutiques. Fabulous fashions will be showcased; a delicious meal and a fantastic silent auction and music by The Scotts will make this event an evening to remember.
SAVE was one of the nation's first organizations dedicated to the prevention of suicide and was a co-founding member of the National Council for Suicide Prevention. The organization has been supported through an all-volunteer, small grassroots group of passionate survivors. SAVE is one of today's leading national not-for-profit organizations with staff dedicated to prevent suicide. The work of SAVE is based on the foundation and belief that suicide should no longer be considered a hidden or taboo topic and that through raising awareness and educating the public, lives can be saved.
The Walser Automotive Group donates 5% of its pre-tax earnings to Twin Cities non-profit organizations though the Walser Foundation. Every year, the Foundation makes cash grants to organizations that strengthen communities through support of women, families and children.
