Mitchell, South Dakota Launches Online Economic Development Portal and Social Media Strategy
The Dakota Heartland Development Association and the Mitchell Area Development Corporation have joined forces with Golden Shovel Agency to launch the Mitchell Regional Partnership, an economic development website portal and social media strategy.

MITCHELL, SD, November 11, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Dakota Heartland Development Association and the Mitchell Area Development Corporation have joined forces to launch the Mitchell Regional Partnership, an economic development website portal and social media strategy. The project is a collaborative solution with Golden Shovel Agency, specializing in rural economic development. The efforts are targeted to highlight the surplus of available jobs, incentives for business and industries, and the area's high quality of life. The new portal can be accessed at www.MitchellSD.org

The partnership between Mitchell Regional Partnership and Golden Shovel Agency will create a regional economic development website through targeted online solutions and social media management, with the goals of attracting workforce and industry to the region.

According to Ron Kresha, President of Golden Shovel Agency, the website and social media strategy will impact the information available to businesses and stakeholders seeking the economic development services from the Mitchell region and its partner cities and counties:
